LeashMates has zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE). LeashMates is an adults-only (18+) platform for dog owners. Any content or conduct that sexualizes, exploits, or endangers a minor is strictly prohibited and will be removed, reported to the authorities, and result in a permanent ban.
These standards describe how we prevent, detect, and respond to CSAE, in line with Google Play's Child Safety Standards policy and applicable law.
🛡️ 1. Our Commitment
The safety of children is paramount. LeashMates maintains a zero-tolerance policy toward child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE), including child sexual abuse material (CSAM), grooming, and any sexualization of minors. We are committed to preventing our service from being used to create, store, or share such content, and to acting quickly when we become aware of it.
🔞 2. Adults-Only Platform (18+)
LeashMates is intended solely for adults. To use the App you must:
- Be at least 18 years of age; users under 18 are not permitted
- Provide a date of birth, which is enforced at account creation
Accounts found to belong to a minor will be removed.
🚫 3. Prohibited Content & Conduct
The following are strictly prohibited on LeashMates and will result in immediate removal and a permanent ban:
- Child sexual abuse material (CSAM) in any form
- Sexualization of, or sexual content involving, anyone under 18
- Grooming, solicitation, or any attempt to contact or exploit a minor
- Sharing, requesting, or linking to CSAE content
- Any content or behavior that endangers a child
📣 4. How to Report
If you encounter content or behavior that may involve child safety, report it immediately:
- In the app: use the Report option available on every user profile and in every chat, and select “Inappropriate content.”
- By email: contact our child safety team at childsafety@leashmates.com.
- Block: you can also block any user immediately from their profile.
If a child is in immediate danger, contact your local law enforcement first.
⚖️ 5. How We Respond
When we receive a report or otherwise become aware of suspected CSAE, we:
- Review the report promptly
- Remove violating content and preserve relevant evidence as required by law
- Permanently ban the responsible account(s)
- Report apparent CSAM to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and/or the appropriate authorities in the relevant jurisdiction
- Cooperate with law enforcement investigations

- Age enforcement at sign-up (18+)
- In-app reporting and blocking tools on every profile and conversation
- Review of reported content and accounts
- Removal of, and bans for, accounts that violate these standards
📜 7. Legal Compliance
LeashMates complies with applicable laws regarding child safety and the reporting of CSAE, including reporting to NCMEC where required, and cooperates with relevant authorities. We comply with Google Play's Child Safety Standards policy.
